Film: Wonder
Sith Lords, Garmedon, Venom are all fancy villains. Kids love them. But in real life, the enemies are not that fancy and more importantly they have to face them. In the movie #Wonder, kids relate themselves to August Pullman who has had 27 facial surgeries due to genetic disorder. They don’t see him as a victim , maybe a boy with different facial features, initially but that soon ceases as they start seeing him as one among them. They become him, having the same problems/ villains like new school, new teachers, the arduous way to make friends, not being friends anymore, fitting in, being bullied, trying to avoid bullies, etc and share the same triumphs- making good friends and get back to being friends again. The path to know the essence of a person especially for kids is same irrespective of whether one has facial surgeries or not. They follow instincts to trust another being and we should let them follow it.
